Finally at the end of 2023, and what a ride!
Friends, I have to confess it has been a really long year with a lot of ups and downs. To finish out the year I made myself a nice new combo bonnet, hat, dickie thing from Godey's Magazine and so many people responded positively I went ahead and did a write up to share. I've had 2 rounds of testers ghost on me now, and I really want to finish that project in 2024. If you're interested drop a line in the comments section, or just stitch it up and send me a pic! It isn't a paid test, sorry. I am doing it for the re-enactor community. It is a useful pattern that would be new to the costuming scene.
